Touchstone: Experience a Colors In Motion moment:
AROUSING CURIOSITY What happens when we are curious? Does curiosity affect our health? It certainly affects our emotions. And how powerful are emotions in our wellbeing?

"The important thing is not to stop questioning," said Albert Einstein. "Curiosity has its own reason for existing."

COLORS IN MOTION AROUSES CURIOSITY
In Health Environments Research and Design (HERD) Journal (Spring 2011, Vol. 4 No.3), Dr. Judy Rollins of Georgetown University poses the idea that curiosity, aroused by powerful and engaging art in hospital environments, enhances health outcomes for patients, families and staff. Examining the work of three artists - Joan Drescher's Moon Balloon, Linda DeHart's Colors In Motion, and Vara Kamin's Impressions of Light - Dr. Rollins cites research and explores their unique styles. She ends by calling for research on specifically how they affect people in the hospital and healthcare environments. Request this article, Arousing Curiosity: Hospital Art that Transcends, from the HERD Journal.

IS IT DISSOLVING OR IS IT COMING INTO FORM ?
Curious? What do you see in this TOUCHSTONE: evolution, or dissolution? Is it the essence of existence: creation and destruction? Is it growth and change? Is it that both are happening at the same time?

COMMENTS ON WATER
I do love your touchstones -- beautifully done. Your work is one of the very few things that is gorgeous electronically -- luminous, lustrous, and luscious as stained glass on a sunny day.

These are certainly the most beautiful emails I receive. A lovely and welcome exception to the daily fare.

Thank you for sharing this TOUCHSTONE. Jeff's poem sums my life philosophy. To be creative and touch lives in an uplifting way has no greater reward!

I can easily see this in the lobby or lounges of five-star hotels, or the offices of CEO's. If I was choosing the art for a public space, I'd love it.
- Bob Condon, Chicago Vacation Rentals

You are doing such important work. I encourage you to keep going and just wish I could replicate myself to have more time to participate with what you are doing.
