Entering a new year, a new era, a new expression of humankind, we at Colors In Motion are inspired to offer this sojourn from The Human Journey, Linda's signature audiovisual program published in 2009.
 
The Human Journey encompasses ten different healing moods, providing uplift and refuge for our minds and souls. From "Invitation" and "Growth," the 102-minute program explores "Deep Resonance," "Acceptance" and other passages, expressing a sense of rebirth in "Creation," then completion (of a cycle, ready to embark again?) in "Inner Stillness."
 
Each sojourn is an expression of Linda's artistic passion to create art that carries the viewer beyond the object, to a place of inner transformation through the power of color and motion.
 
This TOUCHSTONE, Creation, is the first of our new format, being introduced this year. TOUCHSTONES are now publishing every other month. Each issue will bring you a longer and fuller experience of Colors In Motion's portfolio of potential. Creation brings you over 12 minutes of unique and calming interlude.

Bodies of Light

Inspired by the early modern movement practices of Isadora Duncan and Florence Fleming Noyes, dancer/choreographer Meg Brooker brings new insight to Duncan's challenge that the dancer attain
"luminosity of the flesh." Weaving in and out of the color-drenched landscape of Linda DeHart's
richly textured watercolors, Brooker rhythmically materializes and disappears. The effect is an ephemeral
conversation between gesture and brushstroke.
