![]() Ruth's daughter, flutist Andrea Lieberherr Douglass, provides an improvisation empathetic to the struggles of veiled confinement, transcendence, and the ecstasy of release. Andrea performs a wide array of music around the world. Ruth dances with the handpainted silks of Linda DeHart, captured in arcs of time by the long-exposure photography of Christopher Graefe. The veils finally give way to jubilant release into the spaces of Linda's veil paintings, created during the summer of 2013 as a visual exploration for this TOUCHSTONE. |
