This 33 minute TOUCHSTONE offers an open-eyed meditation and experience of your essential nature for your deep benefit, guided visually by the 20-foot long elemental landscape painted by Linda DeHart, while you are immersed in the deeply relaxing and healing music of Grammy-nominee and best-selling sound healer Steven Halpern (with Jorge Alfano on Shakuhachi bamboo flute) from his new release, Deep Alpha 2.0.
 Halpern explains that his sound environment "combines healing music with Aural-Sync™ brainwave entrainment technology that tunes your brain to the 8 cycle-per-second frequency associated with inner peace, deep relaxation and the resonant harmonics of the Earth. Your brain synchronizes to the frequency automatically. The music is composed with the intention of creating a healing and harmonizing experience that leaves you relaxed, recharged and renewed."
So too, the moving images are intentionally synchronized with this music to add a new dimension to the experience, unifying our auditory and visual senses. In painting the watercolors, DeHart found herself working from right to left, instinctively. Visually, the presentation works equally well from left to right, the images merging and folding in upon themselves, a testament to their universality.  Colors In Motion is launching an exclusive series called "Fine Art Experiences" with Medcalm, a provider of audio video programs for patient rooms in hospitals across the US. "Fine Art Experiences" are artistic collaborations using all original visual arts, poetry, dance and music from many artists, including Steve Halpern. "Essential Nature" is one program in this series.
